Joensuu is to hold a festival week to celebrate the centennial of Finland’s independence. The festivities start on Wednesday, 29.11, Joensuu’s 169th anniversary, and there will be events on every day of the week. The Joensuu Week will culminate in Finland’s Independence Day celebration on 6.12.
